Here is one of our winners (or should we say loser) for the Cupid is Stupid contest!
“My brother called me on February 13th and told me to expect two dozen of my favorite flowers, lilies, on February 14th. In high anticipation of my flowers, I sat at home all day waiting for them. At 3:30, the doorbell rang. I was so excited and opened the door only to see one dozen carnations from my ex-boyfriend whom I had gotten a restraining order against 7 months before. The card read, “For the love of my life, please forgive me. Love, your honey bunches of oats.” Gag! If that wasn’t enough, I had to keep the note for evidence! Happy Valentine’s Day to me! :(” –D.M.
